My Journey with MILK Fund

A Fun Moment from our MILK Mentoring Programme Finale Session.

When I was first introduced to MILK FUND back in my ITE days, I immediately felt something different compared to other scholarships or support programs. It wasn’t just about financial assistance it was about people and growth.

Through MILK, I met friends from many different walks of life. We came from different schools and backgrounds, but we shared a common goal: to learn, grow, and give back. The trainers and mentors were more than just facilitators, they became role models who guided us with patience and genuine care.

A big part of my personal growth came from their mentorship program. My mentor, Felicia, played a huge role in helping me become not just a better student but also a better son to my family. She shared practical tips and strategies to improve myself academically and even at work, and her encouragement gave me the confidence to aim higher.

Another person who inspired me deeply was Suraj, the lead in charge of the scholarship team. He taught me how to be more confident in myself and helped me push through difficult times. His advice and support motivated me to stay focused and improve both in my studies and in my personal growth.

I also gained so much through the events and activities organized by MILK. A recent highlight was the kickboxing session, where we learned the basics of self-defense and, more importantly, shared ideas on how to avoid confrontation and handle conflicts at work, home, or in public. Everyone contributed valuable perspectives, and we left not only with practical skills but also stronger bonds as a group. Another memorable event was the Intergen EdVentures with StarHub, where we discovered more about the company and learned effective communication skill.  The trainers shared crucial workplace tips, and the activities helped us connect and collaborate with one another.

What makes MILK truly special is that they go beyond financial assistance. They invest in helping you become the best version of yourself academically, personally, and socially.

To any student considering joining MILK: take the leap. You’ll find mentors who care, friends who inspire you, and experiences that will shape your future. MILK is more than just a scholarship; it is a family that believes in you and helps you believe in yourself.
